A special thanks to all who serve and sacrifice their time during the holidays. While we are spending time with our families, remember the ones that give us the freedom to do so.

Twas The Night Before Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the town,
Everyone seemed happy, not even a frown.
The stores were all busy, making sales by the minute,
Last minute shopping, maxing out the credit card limit.

He watches them all as he sits all (more…)

So the holiday season is here and Christmas is right around the corner. Everyone is supposed to watch your weight and be careful what you eat during the holidays right? Whatever. This is a time to enjoy all those delicious foods out there. While I sit at work, I’m thinking of the cookies that are not far from me and trying to keep my hands from grabbing one or two or six. They remind me of the AWESOME cookies that my wife has made a few times recently. Just thought that I’d share with everyone the recipe in case you want to make these delicious amazing little bites for your holiday get together. I know this isn’t “Road Rage” but hey, who can get mad over cookies? (more…)

This is just too funny to pass up. I found this on another blog, The Ancient Gaming Noob, and thought it was hilarious. Maybe amongst all of the road rage this will make someone laugh. I sure did.

Dad Life. This is too funny. I don’t think I’ve posted this here before, if I have then oh well, it deserves to be posted again. This is one of the funniest videos I have ever seen. Just wanted to share it with everyone (maybe for the second time?). You will enjoy this whether you are a dad or not.

Thanks to Church on the Move

Boredom sometimes overtakes people and makes them do stupid things. Then again, sometimes it’s just the stupid that makes them be stupid. So, being bored, I’ve put together a list of things that make we wanna look at someone and say, “Are you serious?”. Did you just do that? Things that make me wanna grab someone and slap them around a bit while screaming and telling them how stupid they are. Some of these I’ve found around the internet and had to share, however most are from my experiences, unfortunately. I hope you enjoy, and by all means if there is something that makes you just flip out, please add it to the list.

Are you serious? Did you just really do that?

With the holiday season arriving, many of us are concerned about the potential weight gain from all the delicious foods. Turkey, ham, dressing, sweet potato pie, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, and chocolate cake are just a few to name. Recent studies have shown that these foods make you fat (more…)

Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes

March 29th, 2008. This was a big day for me. This is the day I married my beautiful wife, Emily. This would turn out to be one of the happiest days of my life. However, this day has other meanings as well. This would be the day I would begin helping to find a cure for Diabetes. I have been involved in several charities and events in my time, but none mean as much to me as this one. This is definitely not a “Road Rage” topic, but hey, not all of them have been about rage right? And it has been a while since we have written anything at all, so just be happy we are still here. I know you missed us! HA.

On October 30th, 2010 my wife, son, and I will be headed to the Botanical Gardens in Huntsville to Step Out. This is put on by the American Diabetes Association. Step Out, Walk to Fight Diabetes. We are very excited about this since this is the first time we have become so involved in raising money and awareness for this disease.

No More Pricking!

Emily found out she was diabetic at the age of 14, and since has been insulin dependent. When I watch someone like her that has to inject themselves with insulin everyday and after every time they eat it makes me have a world of respect for what they go through. When they can do this everyday like it’s nothing, it gives me encouragement that I can go on each day and overcome my “problems”. Sometimes I forget how small my “problems” really are. When I get cut off in traffic, forget to stop for gas, don’t have enough money for a hamburger, or as ‘big’ as not being able to pay a bill on time. These things can really get someone (ME!) stressed out. Sometimes I have to step back and realize that there are people around us who are just lucky to be alive. They are happy that they are still living. Emily has had Diabetes for 10 years now, she is only 24 years old. The things that we will experience together as she battles this horrible disease are things that no one wants to talk about. On June 28th of 2009 my son was born. The joy of being a parent, words cannot describe. So far he is doing fine and no signs of Diabetes. But we will always wonder if that day will come, like it did for Emily at an early age. I don’t want to see him have to go through what his mother does.

No More Sticking!

So I’m asking for you to help us find a cure for this disease. For my wife so she can live a long healthy life, for my son to make sure he never has to worry about this, and for the millions of others who are diabetic, whether Type 1 or Type 2. One dollar at a time and one step at a time, we can find a cure.

I will try to take pictures and let everyone know how the walk goes. Or, you could just come with us!

Thank you for the time it took to read this. For whatever you want to give, money, time, or just a thought and a prayer. Thank you.

Chicago White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen has done it again. He has flipped out and gone crazy, again. His last rant to the media is about numerous things. Like why Asian players get a translator but Latin players don’t, why Latin America players are considered too old to sign if they are over 17 years old (load of bull) but U.S. kids are signed after their twenties when they get out of college, and how MLB doesn’t care about Latinos using steroids and does nothing to educate them from using.
