“Here is a little song I wrote,
You might want to sing it note for note,
Don’t worry, be happy.
In every life we have some trouble,
When you worry you make it double,
Don’t worry, be happy…….

Cause when you worry
Your face will frown,
And that will bring everybody down
So don’t worry, be happy.”
-Bobby McFerrin

What kind of attitude did you wake up with today? Were you in a bad mood from the start? Did you wake up happy that you were alive? Or, did you just wake up and not really think about it, getting ready for another busy day of the same old routine? (more…)

Jack Roush at the controls of one of his aircraft - Credit Bob Margolis/Yahoo Sports

On Tuesday, NASCAR Sprint Cup team owner Jack Roush was seriously injured in a plane crash while attempting to land his aircraft on a runway in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.  Witnesses to the crash said it appeared that the engines had stalled shortly before reaching the ground and sending the airplane into a cartwheel, then breaking a wing and the tail-section off.  As of last report, Roush was in serious but stable condition at a local hospital. Road Rage With A&A is a Family Place and Will Continue to Be

Posted: July 25, 2010 by Adrian Sanders in Other

We here at Road Rage with A&A would like to remind everyone that reads and comments on our blogs that we are a family friendly place.  We may use this place to gripe and complain but we refuse to let it go down the gutter with the talk.  We have a wide array of readers from children to grandmothers, so we would appreciate it if you would do your part by helping to keep this place a family friendly environment.

So with that said, to the person who decided to write 5 different posts not only personally attacking Adam and I, but also attacking other people who commented, you are no longer welcome here.  It is obvious that you are some spineless individual just trolling around trying to get a rise out of everyone, well that wont work here.  We will not be replying to your childish comments and you should be ashamed the way you talked in these posts.  So, continue to make fake yahoo email addresses all you want, because your IP address has been flagged and you will not get any of your comments approved.

Thanks and enjoy your reading here at Road Rage with A&A.

Have you ever had a friend that is always there for you? No matter how you treat them or talk to them, they are still your best friend. They are always willing to listen to your problems, take on your burdens and they never ask for much in return. I have a friend like that. His name is Ace and he has four legs. Adopting a dog has by far been one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. I must admit that in the beginning I was a little skeptical on whether or not I should have done this. I have definitely cleaned up my fair share of puke, poop and things where I wasn’t quite sure which end it came out of. But in the end, it was all worth it. I have a best friend for life. (more…)

“My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you’re out there getting where you’re getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.”

-Rascal Flatts “My Wish”

As I sit down on the couch, snacks in hand, getting ready to get caught up on the latest sports action, I flip the TV channel to ESPN. Top plays of the week are coming on, one of my favorite parts of the show. After I get my daily dose of “Man Medicine” I decide it’s time to hit the hay, been a long day. When I start to turn off the TV something catches my attention, so I decide to stick around through the commercial break and see what this is all about. Now ESPN is supposed to make you happy, excited, and even mad sometimes, it isn’t supposed to make you sad. It isn’t supposed to make a tear run down your cheek. (more…)

Friendship

Friendship. What is friendship? Today I asked myself this question. According to the dictionary there are several definitions of a friend. Here are just a few:
1. A friend is a person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard
2. A person who gives assistance; patron; supporter
3. A person whom one knows, likes, and trusts.

Everyone needs a friend. A close friend you can talk to about the problems you are facing. Someone who will be there for you when you feel you have hit rock bottom. If you don’t have someone you can call a friend, that is there for you in times like these, I’m sorry. I don’t know the correct method for “picking” a friend, but you should definitely do what it takes to have one. Isocrates said, “Be gracious to all men, but choose the best to be your friends.”

Take forty three competitive race car drivers, put them all in their own car, mix in hot temperatures, add a dash of heated tempers and what do you get? Quite possibly the making of some of the best on-track rivalries in NASCAR racing history. And if you watched Saturday night’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race, you no doubt witnessed one of the hottest rivalries in racing today; Carl Edwards and Brad Keselowski. (more…)

There is a phenomenon that has been sweeping the nation in growing numbers during recent years. Take a stroll down the aisles of your local grocery store and you will see the ever expanding market of energy drinks. From the drink aisle to the checkout counter, extensive marketing campaigns allow these companies to make sure you know about their products in hopes of you filling your cart with their products. But it may be more than the cart you are filling. In addition to filling corporate America’s wallet with more padding, you could also be filling your body with an overload of nutrients and other ingredients that can put unnecessary strain on your body’s cardiovascular system and other functions. So how many times has your favorite team won a championship? The most recent that I remember is this past college football season where the Alabama Crimson Tide won the National Championship (Roll Tide!). Now when the final seconds ticked off the clock, when the game clock showed nothing but zeroes, when the players were celebrating, trying on their new shirts and hats, I can honestly say that the first thing I did not think about was, “Hey, lets go burn something”. “Lets go flip a car over and catch it on fire” did not come out of my mouth. It never crossed my mind. So WHY does it happen all the time!? Someone out there has to know the answer. Why is it that when a team wins a championship riots break out and people start destroying everything in sight. Isn’t this supposed to be a happy time? I know I was happy when my beloved Crimson Tide won the Championship, but “so happy” to destroy and burn everything in sight? Nope. That’s not how I roll I guess. I guess I enjoy the simple things in life. Like being happy after a victory. Maybe I’m just weird.
